This is our Hi-resolution mirror mount monitor. This monitor has the 4 pin screw easy-fit wiring. This means all you have to do is provide power to the monitor and the monitor will power the cameras on an all in one cable with waterproof connectors at the end. The monitor clips over your existing rear view mirror with spring loaded clips on the rear of the screen. The buttons on the right hand side of the screen are touch sensitive and allow you to turn the monitor on and off easily or switch channels with a gentle press of the glass on top of the buttons icon.

The screen comes in at a resolution of 800wRGB480 whereas the standard screens are 480RGB234 (although some retailers will multiply the first number by 3 for the RGB element of the pixels to make it look big eg 1440x234). Put this digital Hi-res monitor next to a standard analogue screen and you see so much difference. This camera is best mounted high up, ideally 6 foot or over, it is best mounted on vans, motorhomes or similar vehicles and not really for cars. The angle of view is approx 90 degrees for the camera looking down and 60 degrees for the camera looking back as the rear view.

This narrower angle camera allows you to judge distance better than the wider angle cameras. The image outputted is mirror imaged to give you a true perception of what your mirror would have seen if you were driving. There are night vision Infra Red LED's to help see in pitch black conditions. Each camera can be adjusted to tilt up and down by undoing the screws with the allen key provided and taking the camera apart, setting the angle and then tightening the screws back up again.

This model comes with the stainless steel bracket to help reduce the risk of corrosion.
