Use the viewer on your computer to view the files on the SD Card and play the clips and adjust settings of the camera. Use the app on your mobile device to connect to the camera via WiFi and view & play the files on the SD Card and adjust settings of the camera. Adds locations and speed data to your video clips. Speed data is overlaid on the video clips.

When clips are viewed in the Blackvue Viewer or Blackvue App a map is displayed showing the location of the vehicle and the speed. Connect to your dashcam with the Blackvue App (IOS or Android) to adjust settings, check the view from the front and rear cameras, view recorded clips on the SD Card or transfer files to your mobile device.

Built-in Impact & Motion Detection. While driving the dashcam detects impacts and sudden changes in speed and marks the recording as an Event so that you can easily find the relevant ones in the Blackvue Viewer (Windows or Mac) or the Blackvue App. When the SD Card is full the dashcam automatically deletes the oldest clips to make space for new recordings.

You can connect to your dashcam at any time from anywhere and remotely view what the camera is seeing live. Back up important videos to the Cloud remotely. Play and download videos from your dashcam's memory card or the Cloud from anywhere. When you switch off your ignition the Blackvue automatically switches to Parking Mode to monitor your parked vehicle, but only writes to the memory card when something happens (motion or impact detected).

The dashcam detects movements via the camera sensor and impacts via the gravity sensor. You can choose to record videos in either both scenarios or only when impacts are detected. You can adjust the sensitivity of both impact and motion detection. The camera records a few seconds leading up to the event and after it so you can actually see the event taking place, unlike most other dashcams that only start recording after the event. Parking mode requires the camera to be connected to a constant power source (see below).

Hardwire the dashcam to your vehicle's fuse panel so that you have constant power to the camera for it to still run with the ignition off which is required for the Parking Mode to operate. To prevent the camera draining your battery the PowerMagic monitors the power usage and switches the camera off when the battery voltage drops to a predefined level that you can set on the unit. I will also include two fuse taps and 5 amp fuses that let you wire the PowerMagic into fuses that are already in use. They are the mini-fuse type. I don't have the instruction booklet for the PowerMagic but it can be found online and there are plenty of YouTube videos showing how to wire it in.
